Porsche 911 SC GIL1378 now CNJ30K
This 911 has a great history Hillclimbing in the hands of the previous owner Peter Turnbull over many years. Peter saw the opportunity to compete in a more modern and spectacular 911 so insisted on me returning to competition and buying his car. We could not afford it having just bought our 911 cab back and the 356 but he set a price we could not refuse so it was off to see the Bank manager. How do you justify buying your fourth Porsche to a Bank manager?
This 911 has been lightened and has fiberglass doors, bonnet, engine cover and wing and bumpers. All the trim has been removed and a very light competition seat fitted - I can just squeese into it! There is a full cage fitted but otherwise the body is standard. The engine has minor modifications but runs with PMO 46 IDA carbs instead of the fuel injection with a competition clutch and limited slip differential. It is a joy to drive!
A friend ask if we would part with the registration number which was an opportunity to transfer a number we had on retention. CNJ30K was the original number on the Nomad and so it is of great sentimental value.
The car will be used to promote our business, Chilly Drinks, and to give Jonathan a start in competition. We intend to do Hillclimbs, Sprints, selected Races and Track Days. The car is taxed, insured and has an MOT.
The 911 is available to hire if you fancy trying a Track Day or getting started in competition, give us a ring.
