The 1960 Porsche 356B Coupe
We have wanted a 356 for many years but with values increasing and cars difficult to find it has not been easy to achieve. Finally the call came from Roger Bray Restorations near Exeter and we rushed down to view.
It was pouring with rain but we took it out for a drive, inspected on the lift and of course said Yes.
It was raining again when we collected and we drove on to Cornwall to celebrate with Peter and Margaret Turnbull and Jonathan and Margaret Williamson who met us in our old 914/6. The return journey to West Wales the next day was in heavey rain and gale force winds but no problems.
The 356 was purchased on 20th November 2009
